"Inverse"
Medium: Clay
For these cups I threw them on the wheel, and created the bases by rolling slabs. I chose only two colors for the whole project and made sure the colors didn't touch. I played around with the base by adding negative space to make it more interesting to look at.

Handheld
For this project my handheld piece was made from a sphere that was hollowed out and then had carved details on both the inside and outside. The "nest" part was made from coils in a bowl because I wanted to have a lot of negative space for the base to make the piece more interesting.

"Two Baby Owls"
Medium: Clay
I created these owls by constructing them out of one piece of clay, and hollowing them out. I then used a tool to make the textures on the owls which really brought the project together and added a lot of detail to the owls.

"Tea Talk"
With this piece I threw each cup and the teapot on the wheel. I created the smooth shape because I wanted a feminine feel when viewers look at this set.
